Complete guide to Veras (EvolveLAB)

Getting started

Install the plugin for your software from evolvelab.io/veras (Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Archicad or Vectorworks). After linking your account, open the model you're working on and go to the 3D view you want to present. In the Veras panel, choose a visual style from the library or write a free-text prompt describing materials, lighting and atmosphere. The geometry slider sets how much freedom the AI has to reinterpret the model's shapes: toward 'precise' the render respects the BIM geometry to the millimeter, toward 'creative' the AI can take more artistic liberties. Click generate and in under 90 seconds you get the render, ready to download or refine with a new prompt.

1. Geometry control (Precise vs Creative)
   Adjusts how far the AI can deviate from the original BIM model. For production renders, use high precision values; for conceptual exploration, more creative values.
2. Style and prompt library
   Veras includes preset styles (modern, warm, night, etc.) that you can combine with your own text prompts to fine-tune materials and lighting.

Tips

• Work with clean BIM geometry: the better the scene is modeled, the more faithful the render will be in precise mode.
• Save your favorite style prompts to keep visual consistency across the different views of the same project.
• Use creative mode only in preliminary design phases; for final client deliverables, precise mode avoids discrepancies with the actual geometry.
