When a technical team wants to build its own AI product with full control over the flow and the data, including the option to self-host it for free (Community Edition).

1. Sign up at cloud.dify.ai or deploy the free self-hosted Community Edition
2. Create an app by choosing a type (chatbot, agent, workflow)
3. Connect the API key for your preferred AI model (not included in the price)
4. Upload documents to the knowledge base for RAG and publish the app or its API
